GNUGK could work as signaling gateway and relay RTP streams. And most time it is good. But It works in signal proxy mode. mostly SBC productions in the market have much more features.For example, fix or change protocols and protocol syntax to achieve interoperability. I have a case before, some devices must work in normal start mode, but the other only can support fast-start mode.
If u refer gnugk as a SBC, then I think it isn't a full features SBC.
