This can be fixed by
ln -s /usr/lib/libssl.so.1.0.0d /usr/lib/libssl.so.0.9.8

Not pretty, but it gets the provided executable to work.

That looks like a broken UnixODBC installation on Fedora that can't
compile it's own header files. Either uninstall unixodbc or configure
GnuGk
./configure --disable-unixodbc --enable-h46018
