Don't reinvent the wheel twice. There is a portable open source GUI statistic
package written by people form the University of Minnesota school of
statistics. It is called MacAnova, is simply phantastic, runs on Unixens,
Macs and Windoze (thanks to the wxWindows (http://www.wxwindows.org)
toolkit!).

You can download it at
http://www.stat.umn.edu/~gary/macanova/macanova.home.html
and you certainly can pipe the data to & from OIO without much porting being
necessary.

Regards, Horst

(P.S.: there is a "sneak preview" of the new wxWindows based GNUMmed client
at http://www.hherb.com/gnumed/gnumed.preview.html - sorry, no downloads yet)
