It can serve as an adjunct - I think soundbites are more useful for
recording heart sounds and lung noises than dictation for persistent
notes.

The problem with audio records is that at present they are slow to
search or flick through.  Too sequential.

Using it as a dictation machine would suit some people - the sound
clip gets recorded, the machine does a partial translation into text
and a secertary finishes it off before the doctor is offered it to
sign.  Seems expensive to me.
