Spirit is supposed to have a CVS setup based on Sourceforge tools....perhaps
Mr. Bray can comment on this.

The problem with Sourceforge is that is potentially a single point of
failure and  what I understand a bit of  a cluge.  It works but it could
certainly be improved upon.
