I don't think this got thru the fisrt time.

I believe it is neccessary to get some open source alternatives in front of the folks who make decisions and recommendations for clinical systems.

To that end I have a question for the list (please let me know where else to post this).

The Summer Institute for Nursing Informatics will be held in Baltimore, MD In July of 2003.

The cost for a basic vendor set up is $475, with some additional costs for electrical and internet etc.

I am very serious about getting OSS into the clinical setting. I hope to do a presentation (submitting my abstract soon, fingers crossed) on how OOS can impact Nursing Informatics. An Open Source project being demonstarted I think would be good to see.

yeah yeah long road to a question, so here goes. Anyone interested?
