Hey Adam, I'm assuming you're looking at table 42-3 where memory (0Ch) is defined and drive slot (0Dh) isn't. The drive slot information was defined in an errata. According to my copy, it's in errata #373. I think you can find a copy of the errata on the intel ipmi website.
