I prefferd solution 2 because it seems to be more global and I remember there was a request from a japanese which want to use english book names always (http://openlp.org/forums/openlp-20/feature-requests/search- bible-verse-with-3letter-book-name) - this is easier to do with solution 2.
But after your request I thought about adding solution 1 additional. Then you could choose a global language selection and for every bible you want you could change this selection. We could extend the meta information of the bible with the tag "Language selection" and also add a possibility to customize the book names of every bible. But that will take some time. In a first step I commit solution 2 because it's almost ready. Importing OSIS files consequently means that the book names are in English, even though the bible version does not necessarily to be English. Solution 1: Display/Import the book names in the language the bible is in. This will only affect OSIS files. Solution 2: Use the application language as book name language.
