Mikael Kurula commented on OPENMEETINGS-494:
--------------------------------------------
Some updates:
1. I have the same problem with openmeetings_1_9_1_r4707.zip.
2. Strangely, the flv file stored by the audio and video setup window when I
enter a room is recorded correctly with high frame rate without skipped frames.
(I'm talking about e.g. TEST_SETUP_1356599176790.flv in /streams/1)
3. If somebody cares to try my server with their own client, I'll be happy to
provide login details in private communication. :)
> Recording gives frame rate of 2 fps

> Key: OPENMEETINGS-494
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OPENMEETINGS-494
> Project: Openmeetings
> Issue Type: Bug
> Affects Versions: 2.1 Apache Incubator Release
> Environment: CentOS 6 and Ubuntu 12.04 servers, Macbook pro and
> Windows 7 clients. Flash 11.5.502.13x, Java 1.6.something on both server and
> client
> Reporter: Mikael Kurula
> Priority: Critical
>
> When I record with any quality except for "very high quality", I get a frame
> rate of only about 2 fps. When I use the "very high quality", my video plays
> back at a higher frame rate, but it seems a lot of frames are missing, so in
> practice the video plays back approximately 5-10 times too fast.
> I am using recommended versions of both swftools and ffmpeg, but I don't
> think it's an ffmpeg issue, since already the raw .flv stream fed to ffmpeg
> has broken frame rate.
> This effectively prevents me from using openmeetings in my work.
