Hello, I am a new user. I would like to create my own NMS, starting from something already developed and open source. I did some research and I have restricted my choice to two open source projects including OpenNMS. Can I use OpenNMS to create my NMS? If I can use it, what OpenNMS can be integrated with other basic functionality? That is, there are APIs can write code directly into the core of OpenNMS? For example I take only the core of OpenNMS and create my own UI? Create my alert management? I thank as of now the answers and the availability of each of you.
