I'm not sure why you're having connection error issues. Well, if you don't mind to upload to our FTP server (ftp://ftp.opennms.org) a binary dump of the DB, a .tar.gz of /opt/opennms/etc and /var/opennms/rrd, I can invest time trying to reproduce the problem locally .... > And just to put my mind at ease - due to the time based nature of RRD files, > is there any penalty for waiting a "long time" between the data merges?
