My phones always did announce themselves. You should at least see something during the OBEX transfer. But since it works :) > Since irxfer works, what could be wrong? What's the difference between > ircp and irxfer? It's the announced application, ircp only listens on the default inbox, irxfer on the OBEX:IrXfer application. When using my obexpushd, you don't have to restart the application after every transfer and you can listen to default inbox and IrXfer at the same time. Using obexftp for sending may also be more comfortable then using the example application.
