Nice to hear this. Maybe you can also replace 'bytesread' var with 'wordsread' . It makes more sense. Can also uncomment loops and test half-word and byte accesses ? If this all works it would be good to have your fix included into main branch, and the procedure is to pass by gerrit (you can read the explanations in the HACKING file).
