Ok, thank you again for your interest and for this testing. 1k pulls
sound really too harsh for a JTAG port.

I've seen blackmagicprobe failing to connect until I attached another
ground line. And someone on IRC reported he used 3 ground lines until
it started to work.

Also, if by any chance you can get access to some ftdi-based JTAG
adapter, that would be handy to see if the flashing can work with
OpenOCD at all (though I do not see why it shouldn't as it should be
perfectly capable of playing back any SVF).
