Thank you for the reply. :) I'll PM him and tell him to try that. I've tried as well, but had no success; eg. in short, what he's looking for is a RasPi bootloader, which contains GDB remote debugging facilities (without using JTAG and SWD). So he's running without an operating system on the Raspberry Pi. He knows about the stubs, but does not want to link his software to a library; eg. I think he wants it as transparent as possible.
