FWIW I gave up building openocd on Windows/MinGW/MSYS/Cygwin ages ago and
nowadays instead use Liviu Ionescu's GNU MCU Eclipse Docker based scripts to
build it from Linux for Linux and Windows.
https://github.com/gnu-mcu-eclipse/openocd-build
By default it builds his repo sources but with small mods you can point it at
any openocd source base.
Hope this helps.

Hi,
As mentionned in this topic :
https://sourceforge.net/p/openocd/tickets/181/#d189/eb54
I'm trying to copile OpenOCD from ntfreak's github
(https://github.com/ntfreak/openocd) for Windows.
Also tried to compile last version from sourceforge.
I'm having either way the same error everytime the same error when I'm trying
to start OpenOCD :
“The application was unable to start correctly” (0xc000007b)
And I can't figure out what goes wrong in my setup.
I'm using the followings command before 'make' :
~~~
./configure --host=i686-w64-mingw32 --enable-stlink --enable-cmsis-dap
~~~
Does anyone have face this before?
Thanks for your help ! Alexis
