I appeared to have openpkg working with the openpkg-registry package with openpkg-2.4.2-2.4.2. I have just upgraded to openpkg-2.5.0-2.5.0 and want to upgrade my installed packages.
I have therefore done a /openpkg/bin/openpkg build -Ua > build.sh The output is as follows (trunated) # build.pl release(2.5) # curling index ftp://ftp.openpkg.org/release/2.5/00INDEX.rdf # using XML parser # curling index ftp://ftp.openpkg.org/release/2.5/SRC/00INDEX.rdf.bz2 # using XML parser # curling index ftp://ftp.openpkg.org/release/2.5/SRC/PLUS/00INDEX.rdf.bz2 # using XML parser # curling index ftp://ftp.openpkg.org/release/2.5/UPD/00INDEX.rdf.bz2 # using XML parser # curling index ftp://ftp.openpkg.org/release/2.5/BIN/00INDEX.rdf # using XML parser # source for m4 is m4-1.4.3-2.5.0 # source for db::with_cxx is db-4.3.29.0-2.5.0 # source for procmail::with_fsl is procmail-3.22-2.5.0 # source for binutils is binutils-2.16.1-2.5.0 # source for perl-parse is perl-parse-5.8.7-2.5.0 # source for grep is grep-2.5.1a-2.5.0 # source for emacs::with_x11 is emacs-21.4a-2.5.0 # source for perl-openpkg is perl-openpkg-5.8.7-2.5.0 # source for emacs::with_tiff is emacs-21.4a-2.5.0 # source for amavisd::with_milter is amavisd-2.3.3-2.5.0 ... # recursing over dependencies for gcc-4.0.2-2.5.0 # gcc is already in list # recursing over dependencies for perl-xml-5.8.7-2.5.0 # perl-xml is already in list echo :::: ftp://ftp.openpkg.org/release/2.5/SRC/make-3.80-2.5.0.src.rpm :::: /openpkg/bin/openpkg rpm --rebuild ftp://ftp.openpkg.org/release/2.5/SRC/make-3.80-2.5.0.src.rpm || exit $? /openpkg/bin/openpkg rpm --force -Uvh /openpkg/RPM/PKG/make-3.80-2.5.0.ix86-rhl4.2-ope.rpm || exit $? echo :::: ftp://ftp.openpkg.org/release/2.5/SRC/make-3.80-2.5.0.src.rpm = $? :::: echo :::: ftp://ftp.openpkg.org/release/2.5/SRC/fsl-1.6.1-2.5.0.src.rpm :::: /openpkg/bin/openpkg rpm --rebuild ftp://ftp.openpkg.org/release/2.5/SRC/fsl-1.6.1-2.5.0.src.rpm || exit $? /openpkg/bin/openpkg rpm --force -Uvh /openpkg/RPM/PKG/fsl-1.6.1-2.5.0.ix86-rhl4.2-ope.rpm || exit $? echo :::: ftp://ftp.openpkg.org/release/2.5/SRC/fsl-1.6.1-2.5.0.src.rpm = $? :::: echo :::: ftp://ftp.openpkg.org/release/2.5/SRC/binutils-2.16.1-2.5.0.src.rpm :::: However when I run this the ftp URL appears to get corrupted: [EMAIL PROTECTED] COS4 ~]# sh build.sh + echo :::: ftp://ftp.openpkg.org/release/2.5/SRC/make-3.80-2.5.0.src.rpm :::: :::: ftp://ftp.openpkg.org/release/2.5/SRC/make-3.80-2.5.0.src.rpm :::: + /openpkg/bin/openpkg rpm --rebuild ftp://ftp.openpkg.org/release/2.5/SRC/make-3.80-2.5.0.src.rpm ftp://ftp.openpkg.org/release/2.5/SRC/make-3.80-2.5.0.src.rpm error: cannot open ftp://febf7abc-e341-11d9-a681-000ea663e6da:[EMAIL PROTECTED]/release/2.5/SRC/make-3.80-2.5.0.src.rpm: + exit 1 [EMAIL PROTECTED] COS4 ~]# The value before the @ftp.openpkg.org appears to be taken from /openpkg/etc/openpkg/uuid $UUID_REGISTRY:$UUID_INSTANCE.$UUID_PLATFORM However it seems that this url is not correctly recognised and therefore the download is not even tried.
