I can confirm that Kolab Server 2.0.4 comes with an OpenLDAP packet
that is slightly modified from the one coming with OpenPKG 2.4.
The reason we took this decision earlier in the 2.0.x series was
that we had stability problems with OpenLDAP on GNU/Linux distributions
and (if I remember correctly) we have changed the way it is build
slightly.

Note that for new installations we recommend the Kolab Server 2.1-beta2
which is based on OpenPKG 2.5.
