Hi Alon,

Hi!

Thank you for quick response!

Wow, a very impressive list of applications integrated.
Congratulations!

Thanks!

if you want to host things on opensc-project, I can create one
or several projects right away, give you full write access etc.

Yes I do, thanks!

every helping hand is always welcome. one of the big issues with
opensc-pkcs11.so I see is how to handle eid cards - belpic for example
links in gui libraries so they can show a popup dialog. not nice
from a code side.

I thought to fix some bugs first, then clean up code... :)
I just need to get my first OpenSC enabled card... :)

also if you are interested, help with windows and crypto service
provides would be very, very welcome, as I have not much clue about
debugging on windows, but getting pkcscsp or csp#11 to work would be a
great step forward.

Oh... I was not aware that they don't work...
It will be difficult to make them work, especially when Microsoft
changed their interface...
You should now provide card module and not whole CSP now... But the
card module uses properitary file-system like objects which does not
allow you to [formally] know which file is mapped to which object...
And the CSP is also modified to something like CSP Next Generation, I
don't know much about this one... But it will be mandatory soon :(

I think migration to these interfaces are about 3-4 monthes of full
time job... Or about a year and a half...

or maybe we can create a web or wiki page about the linux smart card
world in general?

I will be happy... Although I am better in writting C than English :)
But at least we should start to list the smartcard enabled [working]
applications.

With everyones help I doubt we will be running out of ideas how we can
make using smart cards easier on linux and elsewhere anytime soon :)

Sure!
This is why I am here.

Best Regards,
Alon Bar-Lev.
