It looks like it is expecting a pointer to a const unsigned char *.

On Solaris 10 with gcc (GCC) 3.4.3 (csl-sol210-3_4-branch+sol_rpath)
as provided by Sun in /usr/sfw/bin:

   ./include/PCSC/reader.h:125: warning: #pragma pack(push[, id], <n>) is
    not supported on this target

pkcs15-oberther.c has two unused variables.

And I have a couple of warnings in the PIV card routines card-piv.c
card-piv.c:1681: warning: implicit declaration of function `isdigit'
and an unused variable.

compression.c:95 is calling the zlib uncompress with a size_t* but should
be calling with a uLongf* which comes down to a ulong.

I will try and come up with a patch for piv and the compression.c
