I have no idea how MSFT works.

We ordered Feitian some MSFT token for the MS Windows market. We are
awaiting authorization to release them on Gooze. Maybe I can ship some
to interested developers after we receive authorization.

Feitian claims that there is no driver installation needed under
Windows. This means that if your token complies with MSFT, it needs no
specific driver. The device is seen as an HID usb device, like a hard
disc. I will verify that and get back to you.

Other tokens are seen as an USB key on first insert. This allows to
download the driver. Then the token becomes a regular cryptographic tool
and is not seen in system as a USB mass storage.

What we need is access to public MSFT spec and I don't know such
information.

Kind regards,
Jean-Michel
