Dear OpenSC developers,

when executing the following command, you can see that Debian Squeeze
will come with nearly ten packages, all with its own definition of
pkcs11.h

wget
http://ftp.tu-chemnitz.de/pub/linux/debian/debian/dists/squeeze/Contents-i386.gz
 | gunzip | grep 'pkcs11\.h'

I haven't checked other distributions too but assume, that things aren't
much different there. If my assumption is correct, then there is still
room for a small improvement in the Linux world. What's wrong with the
current approach should be clear for everyone reading a developer list.

Therefore my question is: Do you think it could be worthwhile to take
some efforts on standardising on *one* single definition of pkcs11.h?
And given the case it would be worthwhile, how to start such an effort?

Kind Regards
Andre Zepezauer
