not a formal roadmap. There are a couple core changes in the queue
(Field rewrite, Drawtree/State Handling rewrite), which will come with
some interface changes that will mandate a major version switch (I'm a
strong proponent of backwards compatibility and a stickler for not
changing interfaces mid-version).

The easier to integrate things are in there (VolRen, Nurbs, Cluster,
OpenMesh (see Examples/OpenMesh)). Something that needs some extensions
to the FC concept and fcdEdit are the Subdivision Surfaces, but apart
from that they're not a problem. Some other things are a little harder
to integrate conceptually, they might take a little longer.
