I'd like to but I still have login problems. I post it to the list as
somebody else might have an idea what is going wrong (tried
Firefox version 1.0.8 and Mozilla version 1.7.3).

Observing the cookies sent after login especially the trac_auth cookies
look strange :

1) I get a trac_auth valid until the end of the session
2) I get a trac session valid until now
3) I get a trac_auth valid until ~ 3hrs earlier
4) I get a trac_session valid until 2nd Dezember 2006.

Once in a while I manage to login but as soon as I go to the
next page the login is gone again, the cookie sequence is :

1) I get a trac_session valid until 2nd Dezember 2006.
2) I get a trac_auth valid until ~ 3hrs earlier

3) in the first sample and 2) in the second seem to be the problem.
I guess firefox/mozilla deletes the cookies as they are expired and with
it goes the information that I'm already logged in.

Anybody any idea of what is going wrong.

My blunt guess would be that the server time is somehow screwed up.

regards,
  gerrit
