I have exactly the same problem over here. We would love to
see animations in OpenSG, cal3d is pretty nice for now but
we'd like to see more. We also thought to use ODE somehow
to add animation support into our products but that seems
some significant work (but at least OpenSG already supports ODE!).
I'm also quite skeptical about Collada, everytime somebody
asks about the status, there are no replies on this list....

Is actually anybody working on it? A clear and sincere answer
would be very useful ;-)
