Hi Simon,
First, I would just like to say "thank you" for posting the original OBJ
files. It was very generous of you and your group. Plus, I've always be
fascinated by procedural city generation.

Currently, we are working on a new framework for our various immersive
displays (CAVE, Geowall, etc.) and needed models to test OpenSG's features.
We had quite a few that we could use for texturing, physics, shaders, etc.
but lacked a nice large cityscape that was high in number of polygons but
also visually interesting. The main reason for this model was to really
stress the OpenSG culling system to see what's possible.

Once the framework is complete we'll be using it support the visualization
and research needs of various schools and colleges here at the University.

Thanks again

E.

i just stumbled upon this post of yours... it is nice to see our
models beeing used.

i do have some models of pompeii lying around already in .osb format,
perhaps they would suit your needs. can you tell me more about your
project?

cheers,
simon
