Hi Sebastian,
OSGSurface is indeed derived from OSGGeometry, so the normal accessor
functions should be
used for getting the tessellated geometry. I don't know why exactly
the crash happens, but you don't have to downcast your OSGSurfacePtr
to OSGGeometryPtr, the getPositions() etc. functions should work on
an OSGSurface.
