You've probably configured two screens on the X server, one each for
each display (check this with xdpyinfo).

One solution is to enable "TwinView" in the X config file
(/etc/X11/xorg.conf) to get a single large X screen spanning the two
displays.  You could try running the following command and restarting
the X server :
  nvidia-xconfig --twinview --twinview-orientation=Below
