Hello Tristan, I started an AUTHORS file for the documentation package.
This lists the credits for everyone active on the project. I have updated this Authors file to include you, and I have attached a copy of the updated file. I haven't yet added all the translators because that is going to be a major piece of work listing them all, and I have been extremely busy on some personal family concerns over the last week. If you can all look at the Authors file I have attached and make what comments are needed, I will update it accordingly. Tristan; Do you want to be referred to by your full name, or just as TJ? And can you give me some pointers as to how to turn this Authors file into a correct format Credits file please? Many Thanks, and a big welcome to the team, Helen On Tue, 2009-08-25 at 08:45 +0100, TJ wrote: > In producing the Debian packaging I need to ensure that I list all the > copyright holders. > > A simple grep only shows me Jonathan Thomas but from what I understand > about the documentation and translations there should be others. > > Would it be possible to maintain a ./CREDITS file for this purpose? > > >From that I can ensure the Debian packaging is correct and monitor it > for changes. > > > Secondly, I'm wondering about the file/directory layout of the project. > > There's only a couple of files in the root (.project, .pydevproject).
