I'm no expert on translations but as far as I am aware, for most user packages, all the translations are built by the build script and shipped in the primary application package. If it were any other way we'd all be installing language-specific debian packages for every application. > If i understand well, you want to include freior,x264, mlt and ffmpeg > in karmic thursday. No, I was commenting that it looks very unlikely that the package versions in Ubuntu Karmic for frei0r x264 mlt and ffmpeg would be up-to-date enough for us not to need to continue maintaining separate packages ourselves. It would save us some work if Ubuntu Karmic had very recent versions, but with the Feature Freeze on Thursday it isn't realistic to expect the Ubuntu package maintainers to rush to update those packages in the time available. The negative is we have to watch the upstream projects and pull in any security or stability fixes for each package ourselves. The positive is that the user will benefit from newer functionality in each library over time. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~openshot.developers Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~openshot.developers More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
