to be honest, the windows git tools are not very good, this sounds like it could potentially bring this project to a screeching halt making this change, i find the windows git tools less than desirable to have to work with, its very confusing and from a tester perspective this is going to make my job much more difficult, at this time because of the lack of Production level windows GIT tools, i have to -1 this for now.
