Anyone able to tell how to install the tree and grass textures in an
existing OpenSim instance. I copied them in \assets\TexturesAssetSet\ and
then modified \assets\TexturesAssetSet\TexturesAssetSet.xml accordingly, but
that kills the asset server.
When someone work it out properly, and now established that the
actual textures are available under creative commons, can they add
them to the master branch, as at the moment thatis the main issue
with using LL viewer 2.1 9 (and SnowGlobe 2.x) I think.
Most other things work for OpenSim in Viewer 2.1 with the MOAP branch
expect that voice now is not working in Viewer 2.1 with FreeSWITCH as
I believe the SLVoice interface must have altered to accommodate the
later API that LL is using to add more of the latest Vivox
facilities. Maybe we should not worry on that score if Mumble proves
to be the way to go for Voice in OpenSim., which would seem to make
sense given its own aims and API link up possibilities.

after some discussion on opensim-dev IRC it seems that the tree and grass
textures are available on the LL wiki and are licensed as Creative Commons..
