Being able to get data to/from FOAF will help with the implementation (on the Talis Platform) I want to get together. In this context the extensibility story is pretty well covered thanks to RDF (as is the social graph :-), but implementation of the auth protocols may take some work. The Platform generally uses HTTP Digest, so I anticipate a bit of bridging code, hopefully won't be too difficult. Grit my teeth and get the PHP out...
