Hey livende, +CC [email protected], that's the prefered list to talk about shindig, see http://incubator.apache.org/shindig/community/getting-help.htmlfor details on how to sign up.
I haven't personally used MAMP, but I see no reason why it shouldn't work. If you are running into 404 errors there's a good chance that maybe mod_rewrite isn't enabled in it's apache config? On my mac's I took a slightly different route, which I've documented here in a step-by-step-guide, if MAMP keeps giving you problems that might be a good alternative: http://www.chabotc.com/guides/shindig_and_partuza_on_mac/ Good luck & let us know how it works out! -- Chris On Mon, May 11, 2009 at 9:57 PM, livende <[email protected]> wrote: > > Has anyone tried setting up shindig locally on their macs running > mamp?
