Hi there,

I work for a social networking site and we're looking to host gadgets
possibly using open social. We're a windows/.NET shop, so I'm very
green to all this. Have some silly questions to start with:

1) Just like the last post, when i try to run shindig, I get a 404 not
found error. We don't have a subdirectory thing going, but I wonder if
there's a bunch of URL rewriting going on that will only work with
Apache? Is it possible to have shindig running with IIS? If so, does
anyone know roughly what shindig parts could I keep vs. gut out and
rewrite?

2) If we were to become a container, I'm still not sure I understand
how easy or difficult it would be to take an existing gadget and put
it on our site. From what I can gather, it seems the gadget developer
would still need to make some code changes specific to our container.
Is that right? Or would gadgets written for say iGoogle be droppable
to us with no code changes?

3) If we're not able to use shindig at all, is there some 3rd party
that's willing to provide this as a service?
