The Orkut sandbox has been working fine for me for the past few days. No issue to report other than some "no donough" or "temporarily unavailable" on rare occasions.
Augusto, to disable the caching, read this post: http://groups.google.com/group/opensocial-orkut/browse_thread/thread/e2841afb2f4f8464# This will make your life easier than renaming and re-adding the gadget all the time.
