The blog posts implies that apps should be very well polished prior to submission/acceptance. The list of 'best practices' seem to be guidelines, with many gray areas.
Are there a set of requirements that an application *MUST* meet in order to be considered for the Orkut directory? Are you requiring a specific type of application, or a certain number of opensocial calls. What I mean is, where is the line drawn between a 'gadget' and an opensocial application? Is the use of the opensocial and new gadgets namespace sufficient, or is there more to it? An application intended to 'spice up' a user's profile page, for instance, could be a good fit for opensocial, but will it be denied a listing in the directory because it's not 'social' enough? If you guys are going to 'let the cat out of the bag' so to speak, about what will and won't be accepted... the information would serve me better sooner rather than later. ( I think that applies to most of us. ) By the way, congrats on the smoother push to 0.7.
