just so no time is waisted, after looked at some code diffs from when
its stopped working, embarrasingly, it does seem to be me breaking the
javascript.

Is there a robust way to debug java script when being used like this?
I use eclipse and flex builder at the moment, which alows me to
breakpoint/stepthough/see errors on server side python code and client
side as3. but the javascript is my weak link.

any thoughts?

(problem 2) still persists btw)
