A reminder for tomorrow: It's that time once again. This month we have a couple great things to offer folks!
First, we'll be having a short presentation by Scott Nelson of Real Networks to talk about Solaris/OpenSolaris and Real, Helix, and RealPlayer. This is something that most folks using Solaris x86 have been sour, not having a current RealPlayer on Solaris x86. Here's your chance to show your support for our community and find out from Real Networks themself on the roadmap for RealPlayer for Sun's volume systems platform. The main presentation will feature Michael Lim, showing folks setup and configuration of IP Filters on Solaris/OpenSolaris. This is something that many folks have been asking about, and this is your opportunity to ask any questions on this topic you might have. The meeting will be in the upstairs room of the Santa Clara Campus Auditorium, Tues. Oct. 25th, 7:30pm. We will follow up with a Q/A panel for folks on generic Solaris/OpenSolaris questions, so bring any questions or problems to the group and we'll help you solve them. Hope to see you there! When: Tuesday, October 25, 2005 Where: Sun's Santa Clara Campus Auditorium (upstairs) What: IP Filters - Real Networks Time: 7:30pm-10:00pm The quick directions are to take 101 to Montague Expressway, and head east. As you pass Intel on the left, and cross Mission College, stay on the right as Lafayette exits as you're going over the bridge. Turn right as you get off the Expressway, go under the bridge and turn right on Palm. The auditorium is on the right side, we'll be in the room upstairs.
