Agreed (at one level). Then we could have the discussion as to if the implementation of wordexp() if correct (no opinion expressed or implied). Of course, that "bug" wouldn't be fixed by this project (wordexp() still would fail). This project would just make a fix for that bug considerably easier. Unfortuanately, these aren't the discussions we seem to be having. - sigh, - jek3
