Here is the Desktop team's contract with HAL: http://sac.eng.sun.com/arc/LSARC/2006/462/contracts/PSARC-2005-399-Tamarack.txt D-Bus is a part of the Desktop consolidation. In fact, the HAL project has a contract to use it. http://sac.sfbay.sun.com/arc/LSARC/2006/368/contracts/LSARC-2006-368-dbus.txt Since D-Bus is a part of the Desktop consolidation, I do not think we need a contract to use it with other programs in the Desktop consolidation.
