But I still believe the best idea is to have things converted to man pages.

Info once had been pushed my RMS at a time when people thought that man pages
are an insufficient format. Not that POSIX showed that it is possible to
use the man page format to even create a 100% complete description of the 
program's functionality, this claim has become obsolete.
