The only thing you have to consider is the startup files -- Solaris tcsh implementation reads different files at startup than any other version.
The good news is, this is all documented in the `tcsh` man page, and you should be able to set everything straight with a few symbolic links. Just study the STARTUP and SHUTDOWN section of the man page carefully. Also, this will only come into play if you want to set up system-wide PATH, MANPATH and prompt. Otherwise, you don't have to worry about it either. Other than that, if you you're going to be doing any scripting, always script for `csh`, because it's the lowest common denominator. And BTW, excellent choice of SHELL. This message posted from opensolaris.org _______________________________________________ opensolaris-discuss mailing list opensolaris-discuss@opensolaris.org
