That is so because the original text has not been written by a human being, but rather by some sort of a sophisticated spam-phishing tool. Unfortunately, whoever is using this tool is clearly out of their league, because he/she did not have enough brains to realize that this is a discussion list, rather than a private e-mail address. Oer perhaps they didn't care, which shows a lack of brains as well.
