When you folks say that various item are broken or not implemented, are we talkin' strictly about the open version of sol 10 or the "official" version as well ? If these limit apply to both, is there a better release to use on this particular machine for now?
[Background: I got this machine to experiment with and have loaded the OS, vol managment, middleware in various ways. It currently has a slightly messed up sol 8. I needed to do some re-arranging around here so unmirrored the disks to make for more space and am currently using it as a temporary file server/staging area as I play "musical data". ( Disk redundancy not stricly necessary as there's always a copy somewhere else.) I may turn this into a more long-term file sever when the music stops. My inquiries have been made with that use in mind.
