I have been told by one of the maintainers that there is a problem. I believe that they did stop trying to fix this after cdrecord has been included into Solaris. > Here are the results from two successive attempts: > > [EMAIL PROTECTED] time cdrw -i sol-10-u2-ga-x86-dvd.iso > Looking for CD devices... > Initializing device...done. > Preparing to write DVD > Writing track 1...done. > Finalizing (Can take several minutes)...done. > > real 7m18.80s > user 0m0.41s > sys 0m7.63s > [EMAIL PROTECTED] time cdrw -i sol-10-u2-ga-x86-dvd.iso > Looking for CD devices... > Initializing device...done. > Preparing to write DVD > Writing track 1...failed. > done. If you use cdrecord, you will never get such a simple error message. Instead you will see the exact reason for the failure. I am sorry, but it is impossible to help if the program does not tell where the problem was.
