It would seem that this flash plugin is the source of lot of grief. I have the 
feeling that whoever at Macromedia ported this software to Solaris, basically 
just got it to compile and that was that. It's much slower than the Windows 
version on the same hardware, which tells me it hasn't been optimized for 
Solaris at all.

Who can lobby Macromedia to fix this? When I did a core dump stack strace of 
Mozilla, it always crashed in the t_splay() function.

Mine too. For those occasions when I'm forced to use a GUI, I find it nice to 
have everything at one place/in one 'package'.
