<donning project herald hat> It should probably be pointed out here that Michal is announcing (I'm pretty sure) a development effort, JPack, that exists within the JDS Project (that exists within the opensolaris.org Desktop Community Group); as opposed to seeking official opensolaris.org Project status for JPack.
