1)  The existing distros are pretty much Solaris 11 prototypes, and Solaris 11 
is wholly a Sun product.  Even though the first captain of the ship Project 
Indiana will be a Sun employee, the OpenSolaris distro will be a community 
project.  

2)  When you look at what current Solaris people want, and what everyone else 
wants, you see two different things.  That is why, for the time being anyway, 
two distros must coexist.
