work".

So as copyright holder Apple is reserving compliance with GPL when applied to 
their own operating system's but this exception does not have to be extended 
when a develepor distributes his/her derived work. So basically Apple is 
clearly stating that it can do what it wants with it's own code, they didn't 
really need to state this at all but they have probably just done so to make 
clear where they stand. Reminds me of Trolltech.

I personally find this acceptable unless they begin to make it difficult for 
the community to put back their contributions, also if you are required to sign 
something similar to the Sun Contributor Agreement then you would have to 
question whether you would want to help them by assigning copyright when they 
aren't willing to give back themselves.
